Meet Jasmin

Jasmin has been guiding meditations for over 6 years. What began as a daily practice, leading a group on Twitter in April 2020 and hosting guided sessions on Zoom every single day for a year, quickly grew into collaborations with nonprofits, where she supported staff with weekly meditations to reduce stress and restore balance.

Today, Jasmin creates exclusive guided meditations for our courses, hosts monthly live events with Andy on Eventbrite, and shares her work with a wider community through YouTube meditations.

In late 2018, I got divorced. My anxiety and depression were so intense that if I was alone. Even just going to the bathroom—I would instantly break down crying. Still, there was a tiny spark in my heart. I knew I couldn’t give up on myself, even though I so badly wanted to.

For some reason, I felt inspired to start meditating. I didn’t want to rely on prescriptions anymore. I knew this was an internal problem, not something I could medicate away. I began listening to guided meditations on YouTube, searching things like “work stress guided meditation” or “heartbreak meditation.” Whatever I was going through, I’d type it in. And honestly, they helped.

In the beginning, I just let myself cry while meditating. Over time, it got easier. I was able to actually be present and make peace with all the emotions I was feeling. Sometimes, though, I wished there was something more specific like “help being social while heartbroken” or “work stress when you feel like you’re slacking.”

The more I meditated, the more I would “guide myself” with my inner dialogue talking me through my own custom meditation.

When I eventually started hosting meditations myself, people began asking for ones that spoke directly to their personal struggles. That’s exactly what I’d love to help you with now. Because sometimes, things happen in our lives that we can’t easily share with others. They feel too personal, too heavy or something that you won’t find ready-made online.
